TUTORIAL 1 REVIEW: INTRODUCTION. AND STUFF.

First tutorial happened on Weds! Lectures have been interesting thus far and I was kind of curious to find out whether the tutorials were going to be as fun as well.

As all tutorials go, we started off with introductions. However, we did it slightly different in this class. Instead of the usual “Hi, my name is so and so etc etc”, we had to “interview” a partner and write an short introductory article about that person. So, unconventional methods for only the introductions? It was awesome but that could only mean two things, either things start getting better from here or they’ll just hit rock bottom.

From there, we launched into the proper lesson. Instructions on how to create the blog and twitter account, and some basic stuff about the inverted pyramid and a little exercise of determining what is important in an article.

It is still too early to determine whether tutorials are going to be fun (as we only have tutes on alternate weeks and that is awesome) but I’m really hoping that it’ll turn out for the best!

So till then, I’m still optimistic. (:
